ftp on HP-UX 10.20

Dear all,

I would like to know how can I configure "ftp" on HP-UX 10.20 for users with restricted access from their homedir. In others words, I need that users have access only from their HOMEDIR and HP-UX 10.20 doesn't have ftpaccess.

The ftp daemon on 11.00 is wu-ftpd, unlike 10.20 which is an old standard unix version. You will need to get wu-ftp and install it to get the ftpaccess file and all the other nifty features :-)

Hi Tania,

James is correct. HPUX 10.20 does no have this feature. You will need to download wu-ftp.

I reached the site and now I am going to download wu-ftpd for testing in my HP-UX10.20.
