    <description>Well that config is supported and works, so something is wrong somewhere,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Care to share some more detail (such as what actions you take to present more vdisks. step by step)?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You did make sure that HPUX was slected as the operating system when presenting the vdisks from Command View didn't you?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;HTH&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Duncan&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>hi cold not ungderstand ur question.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;1)can u please say how many LUNs have u assigned in all to the HP-UX server in Question?&lt;BR /&gt;2)what is OS versionand rElease of HP-UX on the server also good if u can say what is the model?&lt;BR /&gt;3)if u want to assign the LUNs to the server and want to add to an existing VG can u just give the result of the command #vgdisplay -v &lt;THAT_VG_NAME&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;4)Do u have enough free space on the EVA4000 that u want to create a LUN in the desired RAID level?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Sujit&lt;/THAT_VG_NAME&gt;</description>

      <description>Shalom,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You should be able to present at least 8 LUNS from the EVA/4000 to HP-UX&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Depending on OS level and driver installation since all this hardware is pure HP you should be able to add many more.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you are having trouble, please add an error message.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SEP</description>

      <description>What version of HP-UX? Only v11.00 and earlier had problems with &amp;gt;7 LUNs and even then there were ways around it and patches etc.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You can present as many LUNs as the EVA can manage to HP-UX without an issue...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;HTH&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Duncan</description>

      <description>The OS is HP-UX 11.23 MCOE&lt;BR /&gt;The Storage is EVA 4000&lt;BR /&gt;But the OS can not recognize more than 7 LUN.&lt;BR /&gt;Thenks a lot</description>

      <description>Most of the times you will see strange problems if you present LUNs in other host modes than hpux (e.g. default, windows).&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Check the presentation mode!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;In this example it's LUN10:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;disk      3  1/0/9/1/0/4/0.13.4.0.0.1.2   sdisk    CLAIMED     DEVICE       HP  &lt;BR /&gt;    HSV200&lt;BR /&gt;                           /dev/dsk/c2t1d2   /dev/rdsk/c2t1d2&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>The problem is that i have both MSA1000 and EVA4000???&lt;BR /&gt;I test that with Only EVA.evry thing is ok but when i use both of them the problem exist&lt;BR /&gt;???&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
