Cannot login to rx1620 console, passwords have been lost

We have 2 rx1620 HP-UX Servers but we lost console account names and passwords.

How could we reset console administration passwords?

hi

this can be done using the serial connection to the server MP with a seria; cable connecting a PC to the MP Serial port.
but agsin the LAN setttings and other settings for the P need to be done.

1)connect the LAptop with the serial cable to the Serial port on the MP Card.
2)Press the MP reset Button on the MP
3)press p as the MP reboots
4)answer with y to delete all username and password

hi antonio ;

you should press more than 5 seconds to reset the mp to factory setting. than you need to connect a console cable to change ip and usernames.

default username and password
Admin/Admin
