Yes it is possible, but you need to install the server components for 11.31, see also

http://docs.hp.com/en/IUX

Be a little careful - when support was added for 11.31 clients, support for 11.00 clients was removed in the next release.

So upgrading your ignite server to cope with 11.31 clients could remove your ability to support 11.00 clients.

If you don't have any 11.00 clients then there is no need to worry.
>>we are not going to upgrade ignite server. it will be as it is 11.11. but the ignite client will be 11.31.<<

Important Things,

Both Ignite Server and Ignite Client should be running the same Ignite version aslong they are same , I d'not see any probloms,

If your both are not running same version while you perfom make_net_recovery the Ignite clinet will complient that "Ignite server lower version than the Ignite Client.

so recommeded action would be, download the latest Ignite Bundle and install on both Ignite Server & Ignite Client,

Thanks,
Johnson
