CAT-2 is a timezone with no customization for DST, so that there's no need to have a specific entry in tztab file.

CAT-2 means GMT-2 with no additional adjusting due to DST.

You can always create your own entry in tztab defining the time boundaries as per some previous threads. Future patches could override that setting, or simply define a different TZ code for the same purpose.

Mike

>Mike: CAT-2 is a timezone with no customization for DST, so that there's no need to have a specific entry in tztab file.

Right. It would only be needed for documentation purposes.

>Robert-Jan's link above mentions something about DST? This would require tztab changes.
