      <description>Hi All,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;i am upgrade my system from 11.11 to 11.23, it is successfully finished the 2 OS MC-OE CD.&lt;BR /&gt;but after the system rebooting automatically and when arrive to " HP-UX Start-up in progress"&lt;BR /&gt;some FAIL start up and more is N/A it is appeared &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Start Kernel Logging facility   FAIL *&lt;BR /&gt;Set privilege group             N/A&lt;BR /&gt;Display date                    N/A &lt;BR /&gt;Start CIM cimserver subsystem  FAIL *&lt;BR /&gt;Initialize Instant Capacity  FAIL *&lt;BR /&gt;Starting ISEE hpservices mad daemon.  N/A&lt;BR /&gt;Start Runner  N/A&lt;BR /&gt;Starting X Font Server at TCP port 7000  N/A&lt;BR /&gt;Start vt daemon  N/A&lt;BR /&gt;Start time synchronization  N/A&lt;BR /&gt;Start accounting ..... N/A&lt;BR /&gt;Install/Load XF86 DLKM Helper Modules  N/A &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;how to solve this problem?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Note: i am not use the Application CD and support pack CD.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;thanks and bestregards</description>

      <description>Hi All,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;and this error message it is appeared after finish the start-up HP-UX progress &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;An error has occurred !&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Check for possible errors.&lt;BR /&gt;id:icod "/usr/lbin/icodd  # iCOD daemon"&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;INIT: Command is respawning too rapidly.&lt;BR /&gt;Will try again in 5 minutes.&lt;BR /&gt;Check for possible errors.&lt;BR /&gt;id:icod "/usr/lbin/icodd  # iCOD daemon"&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;and i am try to run the services manually but the problem is still&lt;BR /&gt;# /sbin//init.d/cim_server start&lt;BR /&gt;PGS10021: CIM server error: PGS00613: One or more tags are still open on line 22. &lt;BR /&gt;ERROR CODE 1&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# /sbin/init.d/icod start&lt;BR /&gt;ERROR:   The following low-level error occurred:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Cannot connect to local CIM server. Connection failed.&lt;BR /&gt;ERROR: /etc/inittab is missing the required entry for&lt;BR /&gt;       the Instant Capacity daemon (icapd).&lt;BR /&gt;       Refer to the icapd (1m) man page for more&lt;BR /&gt;       information.&lt;BR /&gt;ERROR:   The following low-level error occurred:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Cannot connect to local CIM server.       <description>For the icap problem, you need to have this line in the inittab:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;[root@rxprinte:cmcluster/iprocess]# cat /etc/inittab | grep -i icap                                          &lt;BR /&gt;icap:23456:respawn:/usr/lbin/icapd # Instant Capacity daemon&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you don't have it edit the inittab,add it, and do a #init q&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Shalom,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Your upgrade-ux process has failed as it often does.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Your system is probably not usable. You will need to either restore the backup you made before you started or do a cold install of 11.23 followed by new application software install.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SEP</description>
