      <description>I pfs mount a cdrom to install oracle 7.3.4 (remember that!!). When I try and install I get a "NFS server pluto not responding still trying" error and the installer hangs!&lt;BR /&gt;I am now trying to copy the CD to the hard-drive, and I get the same problem.  What the hell is going on!!</description>

      <description>Here is the process I use to get a pfs mount to work:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;vi /etc/pfs_fstab and verify:&lt;BR /&gt; /dev/dsk/cntndn /cdrom pfs-rrip xlat=unix 0 0&lt;BR /&gt;(or put these options on command line)&lt;BR /&gt;/usr/sbin/pfs_mountd &amp;amp;&lt;BR /&gt;/usr/sbin/pfsd &amp;amp;&lt;BR /&gt;/usr/sbin/pfs_mount /cdrom&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;DO your="" business=""&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;/usr/sbin/pfs_umount /cdrom&lt;BR /&gt;ps ???ef|grep pfs&lt;BR /&gt;kill ???9   (pfsd)&lt;BR /&gt;kill ???9  (pfs_mountd)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;pfs_umount ???c (cleanup files if have trouble pfs mounting)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;pfs is a pain a lot of the time and has caused many "What the hell" feelings, everything has to be done in the right order or else you'll have problems.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Hope this helps, TGIF&lt;/DO&gt;</description>
