hardware 9000, but Technical or Enterprise?

Hi,

our server is
HP-UX esmsev01 B.10.20 A 9000/889 (ttyp3)

more manifest.info:

OS_REV B.10.20
ARCH 800
SW_ID 1212834382
MODEL 9000/889/K460

this server is HP 9000 technical workstation or HP 9000 Enterprise server (or not both)?

presently we have HPUX 10.20. i hope we can upgrade it to 11.0 (considering about our HP-Openview version A.06.00).

suggest/advice..

Hi Sekar,

This is not a workstation. It is HP9000 server. It is old model server and it is discontinued from HP long back.

Also there is no support from HP for 10.20 and 11.0. You can go far 11.11 atleast and I
don't know K460 supports its or not.

The K-class is a server and will support 11i (11.11), allowing you to migrate to a supported OS, but the hardware itself will not be supported much longer:

A K460 is supported on 11.11 but you need to check your I/O devices and the amount of memory you have.
