JVM and java configuration using apache and tomcat

We are putting an application on hpux servers which will be utilizing apache, tomcat and jvm.

Can some one please provide me link to configure jvm, tomcat, apache and java applications on hpux servers?

What about jvm? Do you know any link for information about configuring and running jvm on hpux?

There is good documentation links on the java side at http://www.hp.com/go/java

For proper functionality, it is important to have recommended OS patches installed and try to stay current with Java/JVM releases.

Tomcat and apache are available at http://software.hp.com

They work as a team, in a very similar way they do on Linux with slightly different paths.

Can you please eloborate a little more on work as a team? Like how do they corelate and work together? I dont have much experience working with java applications or web servers. Do I need to know java to administer any java based applications?
