I have setup a group named DENYFTP and added users to this group who are not authorised to use FTP.
I now want to know how to add this group entry into the ftpusers file so I don't have any entry for every user in this file. Is it possible to be done ?

I than want a log created for every user who was allowed accessed or denied FTP for auditing purposes.

Please advise if this can be done and how.
Hi,
There is no such option.
Either you have to allow FTP access or No Access for all.

You have to create script for this purpose.

Regards,
Gokul Chandola

You might be able to do this by using ftpaccess(4):
guestgroup groupname

Then not set up the chroot?
