Hi

The system does not seem to have an /etc/resolv.conf file.
The last Line says you that the Ignite backup had been successful.
Ignite happens to be successful despite some Not very Critical Warnings also.
But that is always good that you have a look at the make_tape_recovery logs once ignite is finished and sometime you cannot see the Onscreen messages for ignite.
the make_tape_recovery logs can be found at /var/opt/ignite/recovery/latest
regards
sujit

Hi Tandra,

For ignite, /etc/resolv.conf file is essential file to be backed up. It seems you server does not have this file and ignite just saying that. Nothing harm in that message.

Apart from that your backup completed successfully.

You should have get the errors if any just before the "completed successfully" message.

hi Tandra,

it is just that your Ignite backup is 100 % successful but you do not have the /etc/resolv.conf file configured in your system, which ignite backup scripts think to be important. Thats it.
It is up to you that your system may/maynnot have a /etc/resolv.conf ... so no harm ..
Actually the logs i asked to refer will tell the saem things as you have already mentioned.
regards
sujit
