Patch collection downloads

We still have one HP-UX 11.00 system and numerous 11.11 systems. We have not received any Patch cd's subsequent to June 2004 and we were under the impression that the version of O/S was not supported and that no subsequent patches were to be released.

We are in the process of preparing to upgrade our brocade switch firmware versions and we have been informed that our O/S patches are not the latest, as required by the brocade patch.

I need to know what the latest patch levels are and where I could download them from.

You are correct insofar as 11.0 is out-of-support. The last roll-up of 11.0 patches was:

Shalom,

11.00 is no longer supported, though there are patch updates available for it as late as 2006 or 2007. See patch database on http://itrc.hp.com

11.11 is updated twice annually, and is fully supported.

You can get quarterly updates and any patches required by the brocade documentation.

Getting the CD/DVD is nice, but this requires OS software support. I highly recommend it.

By the way, once you get up to a supported release be sure to use SWA to fetch patches and automatically assemble them into a depot for a one-stop 'swinstall' session!

While SWA does not support being run on HP-UX 11.00 systems they are still supported.
Once SWA is installed on one of your 11.11 boxes you can use its ability to analyze remote systems (-s option) from there.
