    <description>Yes, this will affect that, since swlist will try to resolve the hostnane to IP address&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You could do the following&lt;BR /&gt;127.0.0.1 &lt;HOSTNAME&gt; loopback&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Do a swlist and try&lt;/HOSTNAME&gt;</description>

      <description>I have just installed HPUX 11.23 on a N-Class PA-RISC server, I am running a swlist command however it seems to hang.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Has any of you good fellows seen this problem ?</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Have you tried with options like swlist -l product, swlist -l bundle, swlist -l fileset ?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Is this directory /var/adm/sw/product exist?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Is this file INDEX exist under the above dir?</description>

      <description>Afte changing /etc/hosts you could restart the swagentd daemon&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# swagentd -r&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;and then try swlist</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;if file /etc/resolv.conf exists, check in /etc/nsswitch.conf that you have "file" before "dns" for hosts resolution.&lt;BR /&gt;If nsswitch.conf doesn't exists, you have to create one (see /etc/nsswitch.* for example).&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards.</description>
