      <title>Incorrect disk utilization information</title>

      <description>Hello, we have incorrectly disconnected the physical volume from the HP-UX system.&lt;BR /&gt;Now sam utility shows the warning in Disk and File System section:&lt;BR /&gt;"...SAM has determined that this hardware path is not currently active because either the device is disconnected, or this is not the primary path to a multiple path physical volume. This results in incorrect disk utilization information in the Disk Devices and Volume Group lists." &lt;BR /&gt;And also sam is hung trying to retrive the file system information.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The question is how can we renew volume information in the system?</description>

      <description>&lt;BR /&gt;Check what ioscan reports&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;if the disk is used by vxvm you can offline the disk with vxdiskadm command&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
