Can I put swap space on my XP256? Are there any issues I need to worry about?

It would be expensive swap. Are you planning on making it your primary? If not, you could use filesystem swap on your xp256.

Yes, you can. Swap can be
created on any disk connected
to the system.

Try making it the same size
as the swap you have on Vg00
and also with the same priority.
