    <description>The server is Superdome SX2000.&lt;BR /&gt;The HBA is AD299A.&lt;BR /&gt;Connect to a MSL library.&lt;BR /&gt;After replacing the router card of the MSL library, the device of MSL are NO_HW on the server. Then plug in the original router card, nothing changed.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;fcmsutil /dev/fclp0 replace_dsk 0x3d1700&lt;BR /&gt;Error: The specified option is not supported.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Run fclputil with replace_dsk option, there is the same error message.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;In dmesg, there is message as follow:&lt;BR /&gt;fclp driver at 5/0/6/0/0/0/0 (/dev/fclp0) : has lost a device with id 0x3d1700, PWWN 0x100000e00223e61b.&lt;BR /&gt;This device has disappeared from the Name Server&lt;BR /&gt;database, LUNs behind this port will not be seen.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have checked follow patches, no problem found.&lt;BR /&gt;FibrChanl-02  B.11.23.0712 &lt;BR /&gt;Product number B6191AAE, OnlineDiag bundle version B.11.23.0809, released in September 2008 (HWE0809)&lt;BR /&gt;PHKL_36363 patch or later (for HP-UX 11i v2)&lt;BR /&gt;PHKL_36143 patch (needed to enable thefcmsutil command to work properly with cards that use the fclp driver)      &lt;BR /&gt;PHKL_31500 patch or later (needed for HP-UX 11i v2)      &lt;BR /&gt;PHKL_34851 (needed for HP-UX 11i v2)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;What's wrong?&lt;BR /&gt;Does fclp driver HBA have no replace_dsk option? If so, how to recognize the device?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Or are there other patches needed to enable the replace_dsk option on the fclp driver?&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Bonjour,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Honestly, I have never dealt with fclp cards. But we can see that there is no "replace_dsk" option with "fclputil". You can check by entering "/opt/fcms/bin/fclputil" with no option ... :-(&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I suppose that you have checked things like zoning, mapping on MSL, etc ... ? If so I am afraid that there is nothing to do but a reboot. Before I would try a "fcmsutil reset" first, but without many hope ...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Eric&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
