I want to disable rusersd in HP-UX 11.11 due to vulnerability issue..

you can comment out the line with rusersd with /etc/inetd.conf and reread the configuration file /usr/sbin/inetd -c

It is already done but still ruesrs cmd is working

Hi Viney,

You need to comment out the below line and re-read the inetd daemon using inetd -c

#rpc dgram udp wait root /usr/lib/netsvc/rusers/rpc.rusersd 100002 1-2 rpc.rusersd
