    <description>I have a STK tape library L1400,it has 5 drivers and 1 robot.&lt;BR /&gt;the system has 2 fc cards,when use fcmsutil /dev/td0 get remote all,it can see 5 drivers and the robot,but all the device are&lt;BR /&gt;"Target state = DVS_UNOPENED",and this is same for td1&lt;BR /&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;but the ioscan show a 'CLAIMED' state for the tae drivers and robot.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;my problem is  why the state is DVS_UNOPENED,&lt;BR /&gt;and what mean for DVS_UNOPENED?  &lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>from memory this simply means that the device hasn't been accessed from the host yet. I don't think it indicates a problem. Have you actually tried to use the device yet? Does it work?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;HTH&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Duncan</description>
