    <description>We are replacing some SAN switch, what do we need to do on hpux end before and after replacing the switch.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Can some one please provide me steps necessary to accomplish that.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;For precaution take done the ioscan output &lt;BR /&gt;take all the WWN numbers for all the cards&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If possible take vgexport for all the vg's which are coming from that san switch. for safty&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks,&lt;BR /&gt;Avinash</description>

      <description>Hi Waqar,&lt;BR /&gt;Before replacing SAN switch, take make_tape_recover backup as well as database backup. Take the latest nickel output.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;After replacing SAN switch , check nickel output and  ioscan output for everyhing same as before.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Rgds//&lt;BR /&gt;Taifur</description>
