      <description>Hi&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt; I am new to HP-UX.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt; I have installed a software "cfg2html-4.3..depot" &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt; Ex:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;lndsll03:/homeroot/cfg2html/9-4-2009-&amp;gt;swlist -l product | grep -i cfg2html&lt;BR /&gt;  cfg2html              C.04.22.20090128 cfg2html&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Now i want to remove this.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt; what is the correct command with syntax.</description>

      <description>unset DISPLAY&lt;BR /&gt;swremove&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;then scroll through the software selection, find and highlight the software to remove and from the top menu (accessible by tab key), select Actions then remove selection.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;there is a way to do it from the command line but since you said you are a newbie, this is a safer and easier way to do.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Hope this helps</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;man swremove &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;#swremove cfg2html&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;or just issure swremove. It will open interactive session. select the the product you want to remove, then goto actions select mark for uninstall and remove it.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;#swremove   -&amp;gt; for interactive remove</description>

      <description>You can also just use swremove to bring up the interactive tool, then search through the list to find the software you wish to remove.  Handy when you want to remove multiple packages.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Pete</description>

      <description>Hi Senthil,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;For UI interface:&lt;BR /&gt;# swremove    &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Easiest will be using UI interface.&lt;BR /&gt;Use swremove and search that software, select it by pressing &lt;ENTER&gt;, and as mentioned go to Action tab and select remove.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regds,&lt;BR /&gt;R.K.&lt;/ENTER&gt;</description>

      <description>As if you are using GUI&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;goto &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;1&amp;gt;sam-&amp;gt;software management&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;2&amp;gt;select--&amp;gt; remove local host software&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;mark the required software&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;----&amp;gt;select action-&amp;gt;remove.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;if you want to verify it again goto the first step &lt;BR /&gt;select -&amp;gt;view installed software&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;All the log files generated will be in /var/adm/sw/swremove.log for further verification&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;you can do the interactive way by &lt;BR /&gt;swremove -i &lt;NAME&gt;&lt;/NAME&gt;</description>
