    <description>Shalom,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;stape is not a tunable parameter.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It is a driver.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Here is hopefully some help with this OS which is a little different than previous versions of HP-UX&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;As I do my research real time, I see that stape has been superseded with something new.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://forums11.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=1162828" target="_blank"&gt;http://forums11.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=1162828&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://forums11.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=1225826" target="_blank"&gt;http://forums11.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=1225826&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://www.freecom.de/objects%5C00012735.pdf" target="_blank"&gt;http://www.freecom.de/objects%5C00012735.pdf&lt;/A&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Maybe superseded...       <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You need to enable stape driver in kernel.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Goto SAM-&amp;gt;Kernel configurations-&amp;gt;Drivers-&amp;gt;select stape -&amp;gt; Goto actions -&amp;gt;Add drivers to kernel and rebuilt the kernel&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;After reboot run insf -e&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Hi expert,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;  When i'm getting NO H/W then i have removed the device file rmsf -H &lt;H&gt;.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt; Tried ioscan -fnC tape but noting is coming and then rebooted the server after that tape drive has detected with different divice file name.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt; my query is, there are any posibility to detect tape without rebooting and what happened after rebooting it's detecting?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards&lt;BR /&gt;Kk&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/H&gt;</description>
