Is there a way I can determine the version of SAS controller firmware while the system is running HP-UX?

I think you would not ask without a reason.

Be carefull!

Older driver version does check and update the firmware too, newer doesn't.

But driver and firmware must match.

Newest is

FW version: 1.23.33.00, EFI driver: 2.01.04.00

You need to read and follow this document:

Otherwise you may have a serious problem.
