Is there an OpenSSL 0.9.8k for HP-UX 11-23 as referenced in OpenSSL Security Advisory [25-Mar-2009]? I have been unable to find it.

If openssl has been re-released by HP it will be found on http://software.hp.com

For some applications HP software support provides binary replacement but probably not this.

I am sorry I need 0.9.8k per OpenSSL Security Advisory [25-Mar-2009] and that is not in the HP software library that is the reason I asked. As for building it myself I am not that up to speed on building it. I know my organization would feel better with a vendor patch anyway.

I believe that the kit includes a file named
"INSTALL", which provides instructions.

In that case, a direct complaint to the
vendor might be appropriate.

As with most open-source software, if you
want the latest code soonest, then you may
need to do some work yourself. "Work or
wait" is my motto. (Well, one of them.)
