    <description>Hi,everyone,One of my D380 boot failed,it seems like eisa configuration problem,the error message is attached below,if you know how to do with it,please help me.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;-----------------------------------------------&lt;BR /&gt;/sbin/ioinitrc:&lt;BR /&gt;/sbin/bcheckrc:&lt;BR /&gt;Checking for LVM volume groups and Activating (if any exist).&lt;BR /&gt;Volume group "/dev/vg00" has been successfully changed.&lt;BR /&gt;vxfs fsck:sanity check: root file system ok (mounted read/write).&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;*************&lt;BR /&gt;*************&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;eisa_config running in automatic mode to fix a configuration mismatch&lt;BR /&gt;Date:11/05/01  01:49:58&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The NVM is not internally consistent.&lt;BR /&gt;The previous NVM contents (if any) will be disreguarded.This error may indicate a hardware&lt;BR /&gt;problem with your EISA NVM.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Restoring configuration from default sci (/etc/eisa/system.sci).&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;successfully saved configuration in NVM and in /etc/eisa/system.sci.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The system will be reboot now.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;eisa_config finished.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;***************&lt;BR /&gt;***************&lt;BR /&gt;shutdown time arrives.&lt;BR /&gt;......&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;-----------------------------------------------&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;thanks&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;david lee&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;You can prevent the reboots by repeatedly pressing the Enter key as the&lt;BR /&gt;system reboots, but if left untouched, the system will reboot over and over&lt;BR /&gt;again with this same message.&lt;BR /&gt;     1.  Locate the /etc/eisa/system.sci file.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;     2.  Remove the /etc/eisa/system.sci file.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;         Note: This file is sometimes corrupted during a power outage.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards&lt;BR /&gt;Animesh&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Hi David,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Boot Your system in single user mode, if required into maintainence mode and delete the file /etc/eisa/system.sci. At the next boot, eisa configuration will rebuild this file.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Hope this helps.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regds&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
