How come i dont see dvdrom in the rx6660 in the ioscan output.
ioscan -funC disk gives output like this

If I recall previous threads correctly, your DVD is actually this device:

DVD-ROM of the rx6660 is unlike the DVD-ROMs of older PA-RISC/Itanium server models: it's an USB device, not SCSI. This awfully long device path actually is the DVD-ROM:

/dev/deviceFileSystem/Usb/MassStorage/dsk/disk@hp-1008+294=A60020000001

you could make a symlink to the file for example to the /dev/cdrom ==> /dev/deviceFileSystem/Usb/MassStorage/dsk/disk@hp-1008+294=A60020000001

rx3600 is the same if memory serves.

As said before, the device files are

dev/deviceFileSystem/Usb/MassStorage/dsk/disk@hp-1008
+294=A60020000001
/dev/deviceFileSystem/Usb/MassStorage/rdsk/disk@hp-100
8+294=A60020000001

because this is 11.31 with an USB DVD drive and the older version of the USB driver.

Consider to use the new USB2.0 driver!!!
