    <description>Hi&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You can do simple tests to check if your storage devices are ok !! ..&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;1 - Check the status ( ioscan -fn, ioscan -funC disks )&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;2 - Check the disks ( diskinfo /PATHS_to_devices )&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;3 - check the i/o ( dd if=/path_to_device of=/dev/null bs=1024 )&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You must have a hardware issue !! &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Check the cables&lt;BR /&gt;Check HBA's&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;ioscan -funC fc&lt;BR /&gt;fcmutil /path_to_HBA's&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you have any dout please reply !!</description>

      <description>Hi Guys,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have problems mounting my FS. Each and everytime I am mounting my FS this message shows up:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;root@csp_dev[/]# mount /dev/vgcx7_0810orahome/lvcx7_oraclehome /oraclehome&lt;BR /&gt;/dev/vgcx7_0810orahome/lvcx7_oraclehome: No such device or address&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I tried to activate the VG by using vgchange command like this: vgchange -a -y /dev/vgcx7_u07b, but another error showed up:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;root@csp_dev[/]# vgchange -a y /dev/vgcx7_u07b&lt;BR /&gt;vgchange: Warning: Couldn't attach to the volume group physical volume "/dev/dsk/c43t6d2":&lt;BR /&gt;I/O error&lt;BR /&gt;vgchange: Warning: Couldn't attach to the volume group physical volume "/dev/dsk/c37t6d1":&lt;BR /&gt;I/O error&lt;BR /&gt;vgchange: Warning: Couldn't attach to the volume group physical volume "/dev/dsk/c43t5d6":&lt;BR /&gt;I/O error&lt;BR /&gt;vgchange: Warning: Couldn't attach to the volume group physical volume "/dev/dsk/c37t6d6":&lt;BR /&gt;I/O error&lt;BR /&gt;vgchange: Warning: Couldn't attach to the volume group physical volume "/dev/dsk/c37t6d3":&lt;BR /&gt;I/O error&lt;BR /&gt;vgchange: Warning: Couldn't attach to the volume group physical volume "/dev/dsk/c43t6d0":&lt;BR /&gt;I/O error&lt;BR /&gt;vgchange: Warning: Couldn't attach to the volume group physical volume "/dev/dsk/c37t5d7":&lt;BR /&gt;I/O error&lt;BR /&gt;so on so forth...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;What seems to be the problem here guys?</description>

      <description>do&lt;BR /&gt;pvdisplay on that device&lt;BR /&gt;diskinfo&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;check ioscan |grep that device and insure CLAIMED.</description>
