Hi Harry,

The workstation is running on win98 and using TinyTerm to access to the Unix Server (10.20). From the list given by Patrick, it seems that there is timeout occurred. One question though, why does this happen and how to prevent it from happening ?

BTW, thanks to Patrick for the error code listing. It really helps.

I am new to Unix System Administration. Recently, I encountered an error message on one of the workstation "Winsock # 10060" while trying to log into the server. I restart the workstation and able to log into the server. My question is .. are there a compilations of indexes which contains all the winsock error code and description plus troubleshooting method coz it will be nice to do something that u are aware of rather than doing it blindly.
Appreciate any assistance on this.
