I ignited an L2000 servers from another L2000 server. Changed the IP, name, etc. but now when I run swlist I get:

$swlist
# Initializing...
# Contacting target "lala.va.ng.ds.army.mil"...
ERROR: The expected depot or root does not exist at "/".
ERROR: There is currently no installed software on host
"lala.va.ng.ds.army.mil" at location "/".

Hi,

check the /etc/hosts

smetimes te dns reslver is nt wring, and maybe te ip your server dont belngs to your server name.

properly check

/etc/hosts
/etc/resolv.conf
/etc/nsswitch.conf

if required run an set_parms hostname
set_parms addl_netwrk
