      <description>hi &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;you can tell for a filesystem as HFS or VXFS using the fstyp -v command&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;#bdf&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;get the device file as in the first column of the O/p.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;then for exapmle &lt;BR /&gt;#fstyp -v /dev/vg00/lvol1&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;this shall show if that is HFS or VXFS.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;#bdf and #mount also shall show if a FileSystem is mounted as an NFS FileSystem from some NFS server.&lt;BR /&gt;regards&lt;BR /&gt;sujit</description>
