Appreciate your help with the attached error that I got when installing CDE from the Core OS 1/2 cdrom to my 11iv3 server.

Hi ,

Sounds bad CD/DVD,check the media in other machine.

Something seems to be wrong with your CD.
ERROR: File "/cdrom/catalog/CDE/pfiles/INDEX": Bad address (14).

Bad media or DVD drive. I've seen the error myself.

Hmmm ... guess I have to find other medias then. Is there anyway I can use the 11iv2 CDROM to install the CDE in v3 server?

I seriously doubt it. swinstall should reject it, if not, go ahead.
