    <description>Hello,&lt;BR /&gt;i am trying to add a network printer to my UX machine, and i get 'cant open member file' error message,. I have checked &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;/etc/lp has permissions of 755, and an owner/group of bin.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;any other issues?&lt;BR /&gt;THanks&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>hi,&lt;BR /&gt;  &lt;BR /&gt;  if this is a network printer, i would suggest using Jetadmin to install the printer.&lt;BR /&gt;(IIRR, Sam too uses jetadmin if linked correctly).&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;   Make sure, your printer is accessible from&lt;BR /&gt;the network (ping it).  Then check whether&lt;BR /&gt;you have jetadmin software installed&lt;BR /&gt;swlist |grep -i jetadmin.&lt;BR /&gt;(or ll /opt/hpnp/bin/jetadmin )&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Run /opt/hpnp/bin/jetadmin , which will guide&lt;BR /&gt;you through the process.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;HTH&lt;BR /&gt;raj</description>
