      <description>Shalom,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I am pretty sure if you restart the machine these numbers will reset.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;In a mood here, sorry.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;This thread seems to indicate you can't reset these stats.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://forums11.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=949081" target="_blank"&gt;http://forums11.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=949081&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;This thread, with an answer by me seems to indicate the same.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://forums11.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=1097048" target="_blank"&gt;http://forums11.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=1097048&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;See, and I forget.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Linux netstat has a reset function. HP-UX 11.00 does not. Newer versions may.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Anything on the man page. Turning on my HP-UX systems turns my home office into an easy bake oven.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SEP</description>

      <description>Unless and until there is an option added to HP-UX netstat, you might consider beforeafter from &lt;A href="ftp://ftp.cup.hp.com/dist/networking/tools" target="_blank"&gt;ftp://ftp.cup.hp.com/dist/networking/tools&lt;/A&gt;  to enable you to subtract one set of netstat output from another.  I suppose that with a bit of clever scripting, it might form the basis of a way to make it appear that there is indeed a stats clear option for netstat in HP-UX...</description>
