Hi Everyone,

AM working on patch management currently i have HP-Ux 11.11 running and it is having BUNDLE11i B.11.11.0102.2
but the latest patch is
BUNDLE11i B.11.11.0306.1
can i upgrade it to the latest.

PLease help me out.

BUNDLE11i(B.11.11.0306.1) Required Patch Bundle for HP-UX 11i, June 2003
HWEnable11i(B.11.11.0612.458) Hardware Enablement Patches for HP-UX 11i v1, December 2006
GOLDQPK11i(B.11.11.0906.480) Quality Pack Depot for 11i v1, June 2009

http://www11.itrc.hp.com/service/patch/releasePage.do?BC=main|releaseIndexPage|&releaseId=0906-11.11

Download them and install using "swinstall".

can i upgrade to the latest

and i just want the bundle

BUNDLE11i B.11.11.0102.2

to be upgraded is it ok

to BUNDLE11i B.11.11.0306.1

Since your installed patches are from 2001 you should really consider to install all new bundles.

Hi Jesudoss,

You may download the QPK and install. Please check the warning patches in check whether those warnings are applicable for your system. Add all the available replacements and check for the workarounds.

As you are in to patching section. One suggetion is that you may use ITRC patch assessment tool. Which will help you to keep your system update. You can use HP-UX software assistant also. If you are interested in assessment I can give you more details.
