    <description>mt(1) says this writes an EOF, then seeks to EOD (DDS and QIC drives only).  (I would think you would already be there?)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I would hope you wouldn't need these for fbackup.</description>

      <description>i want to know the role of mt command when &lt;BR /&gt;we writ it like this : &lt;BR /&gt;mt -f /dev/rmt/0mb EOF&lt;BR /&gt;mt -f /dev/rmt/0mb EOD&lt;BR /&gt;and are they necessery when we begin or finish an fbackup or frecover command &lt;BR /&gt;thanks</description>
