      <description>Hi...&lt;BR /&gt;As the above post say HPUX doesn't have a kernel version.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;you can use 'uname -r' to know the version of the HPUX installed.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The following will help you to know more about the OS installed.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;#swlist -l bundle |grep -i hp-ux</description>

      <description>Hello &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;for level opf kernel you must view the path of vmunix&lt;BR /&gt;try this:&lt;BR /&gt;what /stand/vmunix&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The output is the level of kernel.with swlist you can view the level of system release too.&lt;BR /&gt;regards</description>

      <description>Shalom,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;No, there is no numbered version system like with Linux.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;HP-UX kernel is compiled and in some respects is unique based on what drivers and patches have been included.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;uname -a still works.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SEP</description>
