    <description>Thanks for the quick response.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;OldSchool: &lt;BR /&gt;right now im changing the printer to use the model script and i will post the results&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Patrick: &lt;BR /&gt;when i leave it without the -onb option print the banner, and also the postscript file (psfile.ps)</description>

      <description>"Im using a HP Laserjet 4250n"&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;you know there is a model script *for* this printer, right?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://www.hp.com/pond/modelscripts/index2.html" target="_blank"&gt;http://www.hp.com/pond/modelscripts/index2.html&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;and look for net_lj4250.sh.Z&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;it may, or may not, fix your issue.&lt;BR /&gt;also, you may need to check the printer setup to see if its configured to auto-sense / auto-switch to based on data sent.</description>

      <description>The key is this:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;5) PostScript Level                     [N/A]  &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Your printer apparently does not support PostScript, so printing a postscript file will likely not work.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;gt;&amp;gt;* when i put the -onb option don't print anything&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;gt;&amp;gt;* i try setting the banner option off at the printer definition, it just don't print&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Right.  Since it can't print the file, and you specify no banner, then there's nothing to print.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;gt;&amp;gt;* when i leave it without the -onb option print the banner&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Again, correct.  The printer can't print the postscript file, but you are asking for a banner, so the banner it the only thing you get.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;In order to print a postscript file, your printer MUST support postscript.&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
