    <description>I need to "fire and forget" truss from a ksh script.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;eg. /usr/local/bin/truss -eafo /tmp/vktmtrace/VKTM_truss.out -p 24239&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Using the &amp;amp; or &amp;amp;&amp;amp; after the command doesn't help... Some command like spawn orso??&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Who has the key / solution??</description>

      <description>&amp;gt;Using the &amp;amp; after the command doesn't help&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Why not?  It seems to work for me.  Perhaps you also need to use nohup?</description>
