I want to download latest ip filter patch..

Please provide me latest patch number and link to download..
Is reboot require post installation..?

Better yet, you can simply do the searching yourself. Go here:

http://www2.itrc.hp.com/service/patch/search.do?BC=main|&pageOsid=hpux

Select your OS version, enter ipfilter as the keywork and click "search".

Actually i was installing OS patches..but it thrown error with ipfilter old version during analyze phase..

Anyhow i have downloaded new version..

Shalom himacs,

ipfilter itself is not patched. It is replaced periodically with a new depot.

But ipfilter is closely tied to the kernel.

To be effective, you must stay current on bi-annual patch sets and security patch releases.
