      <description>&lt;!--!*#--&gt;Hi Experts,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I am having some issues in installing bash shell.&lt;BR /&gt;I have a HP-UX box with version 11.23 PARISC.&lt;BR /&gt;I have downloaded bash shell depot from site &lt;A href="http://hpux.connect.org.uk/hppd/hpux/Shells/bash-4.0.033/" target="_blank"&gt;http://hpux.connect.org.uk/hppd/hpux/Shells/bash-4.0.033/&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Installation goes fine and once i finish this installation and type bash it throughs an error&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;*****************************************************************************************************&lt;BR /&gt;root#bash&lt;BR /&gt;/usr/lib/dld.sl: Can't open shared library: /usr/local/lib/libintl.sl&lt;BR /&gt;/usr/lib/dld.sl: No such file or directory&lt;BR /&gt;Abort(coredump)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;root#swlist -l bundle|grep -i shell&lt;BR /&gt;  BashBundle                            B.11.23.20.02  Bourne-Again SHell&lt;BR /&gt;  T1471AA                               A.04.40.007    HP-UX Secure Shell&lt;BR /&gt;*****************************************************************************************************&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;then I tried installing depot for lib from link &lt;A href="http://hpux.connect.org.uk/hppd/hpux/Development/Libraries/libiconv-1.13.1/" target="_blank"&gt;http://hpux.connect.org.uk/hppd/hpux/Development/Libraries/libiconv-1.13.1/&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;even after doing that issue is the same.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have also reffered to previous forum but most of the link in that are not working.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;please find me a solution for this</description>

      <description>Shalom,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The site offering the shell lists two things:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;build time dependencies&lt;BR /&gt;run time dependencies.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;All need to be satisfied.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Further, the dependencies have dependencies.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;These too must be satisfied.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Best bet is to download them all and make a single software depot with swcopy.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SEP</description>

      <description>&amp;gt;&amp;gt; ... all this work just for making the arrow keys working&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;if the reason you want bash is the arrow keys working then instead of installing you can use the arrow keys in ksh this way:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;1.) define these aliases:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;$ cat -v .kshrc&lt;BR /&gt;alias __A='^P'&lt;BR /&gt;alias __B='^N'&lt;BR /&gt;alias __C='^F'&lt;BR /&gt;alias __D='^B'&lt;BR /&gt;alias __H='^A'&lt;BR /&gt;alias __P='^D'&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;2.) be sure you're in emacs mode, not in vi mode&lt;BR /&gt;(ok, i hate emacs mode, it just far more slower than vi mode, but if you want it...)&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Hi I've HP-UX 11.23 IA-64 &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I've installed:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;- bash-4.0.033-ia64-11.23.depot&lt;BR /&gt;- gettext-0.17-ia64-11.23.depot&lt;BR /&gt;- libiconv-1.13.1-ia64-11.23.depot&lt;BR /&gt;- termcap-1.3.1-ia64-11.23.depot&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;But the result is:&lt;BR /&gt;# bash&lt;BR /&gt;sh: bash:  not found.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Who knows how to solve this problem?</description>
