Hi,

/etc/exports is not there in my HP-UX server,

Do you want me to create /etc/exports file?

What ownership and group for this file?

What permission should i set for this file?

you want to export some files from your server then YES.

ownership you can check from some other server i suupose ;)

Depends on the version of HP-UX. Prior to 11i v3 (11.31) the /etc/exports file controls the shared filesystems. On 11i v3 the /etc/dfs/dfstab file contains this information. If you're running 11i v3 then look at the dfstab and share man pages for help with exporting/sharing file systems.
