Hello all,
I would like to know how to use backup and recovery in the new SMH interface as in former SAM for hp 11.23 and earlier. I am on an hp- 11.31 box.

Hi,

I don't know if there is backup/recovery links from SMH, I cannot see them on a my system. Anyhow tools like SAM and SMH are not designed for backup/recovery strategy, so I wouldn't be surprised if there's no backup/recovery strategy from SMH. AFAIK SAM does run fbackup/frecover, you could easily run them from command line.

I have opted to use the command line but was just wondering whether the functionality has been removed or hidden somewhere else.

Yes SAM deprecated with advent of new SMH. I think you can do whatever you did with SAM check this link out: it must be there
