Hi Guys,
Can I check if anyone know if a DDS4 tape drive can be connected to a L2000 server.

yes,you can connect DDS4 tape drive.
you may require OLD SCSI cable.

It can either be installed internally or connected external to the built-in connector or any LVD SCSI card.

Hi,

it was already mentioned it's supported.
Anyway I suppose you have a recent HP-UX version with a patched stape driver.
Once checked that you can connect DDS4.

Thanks for the info, by the way can I connect a DAT72 instead of a DDS4, is it backward compatible ?? Kindly advice??

Both DDS4 & DAT72 can be connected in L3000 server.Once connected the drive,we need to add stape driver in Kernel.
