Hi,

The SNMP implementation in HP-UX does not provide information data from HOST-RESOURCES-MIB storage.

Is It supposed to be delivered by mib2agt?

I use a MIB browser and I get some disk data from
iso.org.dod.internet.private.enterprises.hp.nm

But the question is why HOST-RESOURCES-MIB is not delivering disk data?

Best Regards,

Joao Rei
Joao,
hp-ux's snmp protocol support the standard MIB, i.e RFC1213 MIB II .

http://docs.hp.com/en/J2782-90009/apas02.html
http://www.oidview.com/mibs/0/RFC1213-MIB.html

To get the diskdata from hpux it has to be pass through complex steps of diskinfo , ioscan and LVM queries , which is not applicable with the MIB query. ,

If you are running the snmp client agent for that application , it should be able to provide storage and the disk data from the agent to system query.

Hth,
Raj.
