Shalom Dorothy,

Data Protector should note the difference between -mtime and the last backup of the file and back it up if -mtime is newer.

In a full backup it does not care, it backs it up.

SEP

After reviewing many of the threads - I have seen that fbackup resets the files last access timestamp which also changes the ctime because of this. I was wondering, does Data Protector update the access timestamp?

Thank-you,

Dorothy

But what happens to the ctime? The ctime is changing daily on our server and we were wondering if possibly Data Protector update the file access time during a full backup.

Thank-you,

Dorothy
