Hi Everyone,

Were currently encountering this error. Please help us to determine what caused?

Current Environment:
HPUX - 11.11
Online Diag Version:
# swlist | grep Online
OnlineDiag B.11.11.18.05 HPUX 11.11 Support Tools Bundle, Dec 2006

DMEGS ERROR

DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM WARNING:
The diagnostic logging facility has started receiving excessive
errors from the I/O subsystem. I/O error entries will be lost
until the cause of the excessive I/O logging is corrected.
If the diaglogd daemon is not active, use the Daemon Startup command
in stm to start it.
If the diaglogd daemon is active, use the logtool utility in stm
to determine which I/O subsystem is logging excessive errors.
DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM WARNING:
The diagnostic logging facility is no longer receiving excessive
errors from the I/O subsystem. 20 I/O error entries were lost.

SYSLOG Error:
Nov 14 04:40:44 cspdbn1 vmunix: errors from the I/O subsystem. I/O

EOF

Check these files by event timestamp

/etc/opt/resmon/log/*

ps -ef | grep diag

/sbin/init.d/diagnostic start

/etc/opt/resmon/lbin/monconfig -> run command to enable Event Monitoring Services (EMS) You must be a superuser

than press E

(E)nable Monitoring

again check under /var/opt/resmon/log/
