Hi All,

how i can know the Tape Library name from my HP server (8420) 11.11 or 11.23 version.
which library name in ux server.

This is for Auto channger

#ioscan -fn |grep -i autoch

If you have ltt installed in you system ,then I belive you may get the info.

You Can also try using ioscan & cstm

ioscan -fnC tape

from above command you can look for HW path of the tape drive match the below with cstm

cstm>map
cstm>sel dev 125 --> Dev Num (device number)
cstm>info
cstm>il

The library network name is for management via network, the operation works over FC or SCSI - so there is no direct relation.
