Hi Admins,

I have dvd drive installed in server.Manually i can eject the drive.

But in server ioscan command showing only hard drives not dvd drive..

Need to enable any services..?

What server model, what OS version, what USB driver?

Hi Himacs,

Have you checked the DVD drive in any other similar server?
Just to remove the possibility of any HW problem.

It should be like this, but in your system the driver is missing!!!

Thanx for ur time..

So we need to re install the device rite?

And please tell mem advanced mount options,bcoz cdrom listing files with saying file not found.

I have inserted the cd in another system.

You need to add the kernel module.

Please post

# kcmodule -a -v

What options did you use to mount the CD?
