EVA 4400 with HPUX 11.11

hi All,

i would like to connect HPUX 11.11 to EVA4400 directly, with multipath using PVLink.

may i know how can i setup the prefer path? from PVLink or EVA?

is direct connect support prefer path setting? or only support under SAN switch environment?

Hi

EVA4400 you can have a look at getting the Securpath software fpr multipathing.

Alternate paths are for telling the Volume Manager which shall be the path for IO when th eprimary path does fail.

This is not going to Provide multipath.

Direct Connect Limitations:
HBA A6795A not supported with direct connect.
The following QLogic HBAs are supported with Direct Connect:
A6826A, A9782A, A9784, AB465A, AB378A/B, AB379A/B, AD193A and AD194A.
