      <description>hi &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;check for physical connectivity as well as the SCSI ID of the DVD ROM.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;see if that is powered on&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;regards&lt;BR /&gt;sujit</description>

      <description>HI Nejad,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If everything looks okay (power and physical conn), then try to connect drive to any other server and see if it can be detected.&lt;BR /&gt;It might be HW issue also.</description>

      <description>Is this a partitionned system?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If so, and if you have installed both tape and DVD then you may access only one of them from each partition.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If this is the case then you will need to replace the DVD drive with your DAT tape drive.</description>

      <description>Hi Nejad, &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;From the IOSCAN output, I can see that the partition is used CELL3. By default the hardware path for the internal DVD drive is &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;0/0/0/2/1.X.0&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Please check from your other partitions it the DVD is visible. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards,&lt;BR /&gt;Sooraj</description>

      <description>Hi All,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;thanks for all your replay and sorry for the delay in reply.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;yes this is npar, but each npar have DVD drive and tape drive, i can see the tape but i can't see the dvd.&lt;BR /&gt;and i check the physical connectivity but all SCSI ID are connected, and i can eject the dvd manually. and i reboot the server but the problem is still.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;how to soolve this problem?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;thanks and regards</description>

      <description>If you can confirm the drive is connected to this nPar, the device itself may have a problem. If it is hotplug (e.g. in a tape array chassis), consider to pull and push it.</description>
