Shalom,

I'd start with:

netstat -i 3

Lets see overall statistics.

netstat -an will give you an idea what processes are listening.

Finding processes requires a link between band witch use and process id that does not exist.

SEP

FELLOW HP-UX SA'S:

Is there a way to track the top users or processes when I have a network bottleneck?

Regards,
Kennedy

Hi Kennedy!!

I've been out of the loop for a while, but I believe the 'top' command would be a place to start.

HTH

Ron

top is more related to CPU.

I use glance to get to know about the bottleneck I have in the network cards. But I dont know the process or user who is using the max network bandwidth. Thanks for taking the time and replying.

Regards,
-Kennedy
